Cosplayer Ormeli Lands Bioshock Gig

Dedicated cosplayer Anna Moleva (known as “Ormeli” around the scene) has landed a gig with Irrational Games as the official face of Bioshock Infinite.

After her rather awesome previous cosplay efforts as Commander Shepard, American McGee’s Alice & Poison Ivy, Ormeli took about a month or two to knock up her cosplay of Bioshock Infinite’s protagonist Elizabeth… not realising that she’d end up being the face of the game – not just in public appearances, but also in terms of box art and TV advertising.

Ken Levine gave us an update on the Irrational Games blog regarding Ormeli’s new job:

We were so amazed by her dedication and her resemblence to Elizabeth that we decided to ask her if she’d like to be involved in helping bring Elizabeth to life in our box, our key art and our upcoming television ad.

You can read the full blog post with an interview with Ormeli here.
